Time spent outside enriches a child’s physical development as well as their mental health and well-being. Being allowed to engage in safe risky play develops a child’s physical literacy, self-confidence, and problem solving and critical thinking skills. Children are meant to play in nature – let’s give them the time and space to do it!

Meet our camp director, Jenna Moffatt!
Jenna Moffatt is a passionate educator with ten years of experience in the classroom. Soon into her career she began to incorporate outdoor learning and just couldn't get enough! This led to her training in Forest School Education. In her spare time, Jenna loves to create! She is often found with knitting needles in hand and many projects on the go. Her favourite people are her two young boys who are also big fans of being outside.
Forest School Summer Camp is a chance for your child to get a taste of how much fun and adventure can be had in the great outdoors! We allow for hours of unstructured, meaningful play, facilitated by educators who want to help children dig deeper into their own learning. Our program supports learning inspired by children’s curiosity and inquiry.
