House In The Oak Trees
After building their forever home just outside of Oakbank, planning their wedding and DIY'ing everything along the way, their passion for creating became very apparent. They started with handcrafted wood signs, wooden bead garlands and hand poured candles; from that, House In The Oak Trees was born.
Their home, being found in the oak trees, is where they drew their inspiration and realized the gift of creating a home.
Everyone deserves to have their home feel like a reflection of who they are. With that in mind, they've curated a collection of handpicked and handmade pieces featuring over 30 Manitoba makers.

Teekca’s Boutique is a family-owned business that has been in operation since 1995. Since their small beginnings in Norway House Cree Nation in Northern Manitoba, Teekca’s Boutique has expanded to include three stores in Winnipeg, and now a new venture at The Village. They showcase over 300 Indigenous artisans and designers from all over Turtle Island and are excited to bring their wide selection of Indigenous-made giftware to more Manitobans.
