Time spent outside enriches a child’s physical development as well as their mental health and well-being. Being allowed to engage in safe risky play develops a child’s physical literacy, self-confidence, and problem solving and critical thinking skills. Children are meant to play in nature – let’s give them the time and space to do it!

Meet our camp consultant, Cyndie Wiebe!
Cyndie Wiebe is a lifelong educator with more than three decades of experience serving in both public and private schools across Manitoba. Throughout her career as a teacher and administrator, she has been committed to fostering meaningful learning experiences that support the whole child—academically, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Cyndie brings a holistic view of learners to her work, recognizing that each child’s growth is shaped by a unique combination of strengths, experiences, and environments. Her leadership and classroom practice reflect a deep belief in nurturing curiosity, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.
In addition to her extensive professional experience, Cyndie received her Forest School certification from Child Nature Alliance which enabled her to develop a Forest Nature Program in a K-12 school setting. She also holds a Montessori Early Childhood Diploma, further grounding her approach in child-centered, developmentally responsive practice.
Cyndie’s dedication to education is rooted in her passion for supporting students, mentoring educators, and creating learning communities where every child is valued and empowered to thrive.
Camp Details;
Ages: 6-12 (*Child must be turning 6 by the end of 2026)
Hours: 9am - 4pm (Drop off between 8:45m-9am & Pick up at 4pm)
Optional add on lunch that will be provided by The Farmer's Kitchen Grocery
Morning and afternoon snacks will be provided by The Farmer's Kitchen Grocery
What to bring
Dress for the weather: Hats, jacket, close toed footwear
Sunscreen & Bug spray
Lunch (if you are not having it provided by us) and a refillable water bottle
Notify us of any allergies and ensure medication/epipens are sent with your child and staff have been notified of any medical conditions

*Note: If you add lunch to the week of August 5th-8th we will refund you $12 as it is only a 4 day week.
