Thai Yoga Restorative Massage
A 90 minute practice combining yoga postures and hands on Thai Yoga Massage in a restorative practice of longer holds and deeper breaths. We will utilize props such as bolsters, blocks and cushions where needed to enjoy this passive release of stress and tension.
What is Thai Yoga Massage;
Thai Yoga Massage is typically performed on the floor in loose, comfortable clothing. This technique has been described to assist Hatha yoga. A Thai Massage also incorporates martial art movements, rhythmic motion, palming and thumbing along energy lines with gentle stretching and breathing all the while massaging the body.
In addition to toning and stretching the muscles, Thai Yoga Massage improves circulation, relives muscular tension and spasm, helps expedite metabolism, boost immune system, balances the body energetically and induces a calm mental state.
Tina has created and combined a Thai Yoga Massage with her restorative Yoga practice for recipients to receive the benefits of the physical and energetic massage applications during a restorative yoga practice.
We end this practice with deep guided relaxation in Shavasanna and a short guided yoga nidra (yoga sleep) while enjoying essential infused towels. If you are looking for ultimate relaxation and tranquility releasing tension and stress, this is for you!
