Tina’s restorative yoga practice is slower paced, with poses held for a longer period and deeper breaths encouraging ultimate relaxation and tension release. This practice will rebalance the nervous system, encouraging healing and connection for the body, mind and soul.
A few benefits of a restorative yoga practice are soothing the nervous system, enhance your mood, reduces CHRONIC pain, improve sleep and relax your mind and body. Perfect for late day practice before bed. Also safe to perform during pregnancy.
All participants are asked to bring a yoga mat and any props you would like to incorporate during your practice. Props such as blocks, bolster, pillow or blanket are wonderful to help you hold passive poses for longer without exerting or tiring the muscles. It also allows you to feel comfortable and supported regardless of your experience in yoga.
