A TOTAL HOME TRANSFORMATION
THERE'S SOMETHING MAGICAL ABOUT A MAKEOVER
Isn't it true that we all love to see a transformation? There is something so mesmerizing about taking something from old to new, bringing to life something that we could barely imagine from what it was before. It's almost like a modern day fairytale...
And that is exactly the case with this home, which belongs to long time members of the Pineridge Hollow family. They wanted to refresh the main area of their home with an open concept, bright paint colours and updated finishes. And did they ever...this home is a hardly a reflection of it's former self!
Pineridge Hollow was so excited to help them furnish their new space; let's see how it all came together!
Before the renovation, the layout of the main living & dining area was broken up by a cross-section of cosmetic pillars & beams. The wood finish of the cabinets and trim was ready to be updated and the grey paint colour was darkening the space.
This transformation truly left us speechless! The beams & pillars were removed to create a gorgeous open concept with so much more useable space. The walls and cabinet colours bring brightness and light to the room and the finishes were updated and complement each other perfectly. It truly looks like a completely different home.
Pineridge Hollow was so excited to be a part of the transformation, by helping to furnish the living room. They chose a neutral palette of greys, cream & steel blue. The design of the space is also anchored with touches of black in the decor, hardware and furniture.
This classic sectional is constructed with wide straight arms and comfortable seating for the whole family. They chose the Decor Rest 2900 series sectional (2901/M2903/2922) in Grade 43 Duncan Grey.
This coffee table features a mango wood veneer overlay in a heavily textured aged walnut finish, making this a perfect statement piece.
These nesting tables are constructed in an aged black iron, featuring a cast textured aluminum slab top finished in a plated antique bronze. They split the set of three to use them in different areas of the living room!
