Welcome Spring by making your own wearable art with Manitoba grown flowers! Join Lourdes Still of Masagana Flower Farm at the Village for a 2-hour experience of botanical dyeing on silk scarf. Participants will learn introductory lessons on natural dyeing, how fibres are prepared to make the colours bind permanently and textile aftercare. Dried dye flowers, fresh flowers, leaves, and all the supplies you need to make your handmade 14x72-in long silk scarf. Light snacks and refreshments included.
